Within Strategic Advisory
This line of work falls within the area of Strategic Advisory.
Capabilities that turn knowledge into decisions.
We distinguish between two complementary strands. Training and capacity building are aimed at professionals and institutions; education and outreach bring knowledge to society as a whole.

Outreach enables more people to take part in decisions and to understand the opportunities and risks of new environmental instruments. EMFF develops content and activities to improve understanding of:
- Climate change
- Biodiversity loss
- Ecosystem services
- Environmental Markets
- Climate finance
- Nature-based solutions
- Environmental footprints
- Integrity and transparency
- Community participation
The Paris Agreement
Climate education, training and participation.
The Paris Agreement recognizes that climate action requires more than institutional commitments: it needs informed citizens, trained professionals and organizations capable of integrating sustainability into their decisions.
EMFF promotes training programs and resources that support public institutions, companies, educational bodies and social organizations in developing the capacities needed to identify risks, reduce environmental impacts, advance decarbonization and promote informed participation.
An approach aligned with the principles of education, training, public awareness, access to information and participation set out in Articles 11 and 12 of the Paris Agreement.
