Area 06 of 6

We build bridges between actors and organizations to accelerate environmental action.

Environmental challenges require spaces capable of integrating scientific knowledge, business vision, public responsibility, ethical reflection and a territorial perspective.

Building Bridges sums up how we work: building bridges between stakeholders with different perspectives and capabilities to build trust, foster partnerships and accelerate solutions with real impact.

EMFF designs and facilitates institutional dialogues, fosters strategic partnerships and supports companies and organizations in their participation in international forums on climate, biodiversity and environmental markets.

Our work seeks to identify common ground, build strategic relationships and turn dialogue into opportunities for cooperation.

“Our challenge as a Foundation is to build bridges so that honest dialogue turns into action.”

Patricio Lombardi · Executive Director, EMFF

Convening stakeholders

Bringing the right actors together around a common purpose.

EMFF acts as a neutral convener and facilitator. Our work may include:

  1. Conceptual design of the meetings.
  2. Identification of participants.
  3. Development of agendas and content.
  4. Moderation and facilitation of dialogue.
  5. Identification of collaboration opportunities.
  6. Systematization of conclusions.
  7. Follow-up on agendas and subsequent relationships.
  8. Institutional communication.

Strategic Partnerships

Partnerships that turn dialogue into action.

Gatherings become valuable when they generate lasting relationships, projects and institutional capacities.

EMFF works to turn these spaces for dialogue into partnerships capable of bringing together scientific knowledge, territorial experience, business capabilities and institutions committed to environmental action.

COPs and international forums

Participation and positioning on the international environmental agenda.

EMFF takes part in the United Nations Conferences of the Parties (COP) on climate change and biodiversity, as well as in other international forums related to sustainability and environmental markets.

We also support companies and institutions in their participation in these forums, identifying and facilitating opportunities to:

  • Present initiatives, commitments and results.
  • Take part in specialized panels and gatherings.
  • Build relationships with companies, governments and international organizations.
  • Connect with specialists, potential partners and other strategic stakeholders.
  • Connect regions and markets.
  • Build partnerships and cooperation agendas.
  • Strengthen their positioning in international environmental debates.

At the COPs, EMFF has taken part in gatherings on climate, biodiversity, spirituality, resilience and environmental markets, bringing together representatives of the private sector, international institutions, specialists and territorial organizations.

Vatican City

When dialogue opens pathways.

EMFF's collaboration with the Holy See has made it possible to create meeting spaces between institutional leaders and leaders from Latin America's energy and critical minerals sectors, including a recent meeting with Pope Leo XIV.

Together with Professor Emilce Cuda, Secretary of the Pontifical Commission for Latin America, EMFF helped build bridges between economic development, scientific knowledge, political responsibility and ethical reflection.

Building bridges is the path to fairer, more transparent and more accountable environmental markets, with environmental integrity and social justice as working criteria, not mere statements.
