Cookie Policy.
This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies the Environmental Markets Fairness Foundation (EMFF) website uses, for what purposes, and how you can accept them, reject them or change your choice at any time, in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the GDPR and the cookie regulations of the user’s country of residence.
01What cookies are
Cookies are small files that the website stores in your browser to remember information about your visit. This term also covers equivalent technologies, such as browser local storage, tracking pixels and tags managed through Google Tag Manager.
02Types of cookies
- By who manages them: first-party, sent from our domain, or third-party, sent from a domain managed by another entity (Google).
- By purpose: necessary (essential for the site to function and to remember your choice), and analytics (aggregate measurement of site usage).
- By duration: session cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser, or persistent cookies, which remain for the period indicated in each case.
Only necessary cookies are set without your consent. Analytics cookies remain blocked until you accept them in the cookie notice.

04How to manage your consent
When you first visit, a notice lets you accept all cookies, reject all non-essential cookies or configure each category. No option is preselected, and rejecting is as easy as accepting.
You can change or withdraw your decision at any time using the Cookie settings button on this page or via the link Cookie settings in the footer of every page. If you withdraw consent you have already given, we will stop using those cookies and delete those under our control; third-party cookies can be deleted from your browser.
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings:
Disabling necessary cookies may prevent the website from remembering your choice, and you will see the notice again on every visit.
05International transfers
Google may process data collected through its cookies outside Switzerland and the European Economic Area, particularly in the United States, under the Swiss-U.S. and EU-U.S. Data Privacy Frameworks or standard contractual clauses. You can review its policy at Google.
06Updates
We will review this policy when we add new tools or when regulations change. If the changes affect the categories you have accepted, we will ask for your consent again. In any case, we renew the request at least every 12 months.
